Celebrate le Tour in E1 & E2

Posted by Les Tokolyi at July 13. 2006

Consider being a Pseudo Pro for a week?

What better way to 'Live the le Tour Dream' than to watch each stage of the final decisive week unfold as it happens live (on SBS), sleep in (skip work), then get on your bike every day for a 200k (roughly) return trip somewhere down the Peninsula.

Yes folks, it's on again. Peninsula Dreaming is 7 successive days (if not bucketing with rain in the morning) of approx 220k days of mainly E1 paced (base miles).

Departing 9am at corner of North Rd and Nepean Hghy from Monday 24th July thru and including Sunday July 30'th.

Share a glimmer of the pain, determination, sheer doggedness and sense of achievement - just like the real pro's. Your legs and waistline will thank you! Ride one day or ride every day. Even turn at Frankston or Patto if running short on time.

I rode this block last year and found it a very satisfying and a useful leg-up into the 'new racing year'. The daily route will vary and will include: Flinders, Portsea and Sorrento, via every possible approach, plus excursions via Arthurs Seat. Even the Dandenongs get a look in.

I welcome the company on any day, or, every day if you wish. Just roll up for a 9am departure. Now you wouldn't want to be late for work, would you?

Naturally will stop for coffee/brunch at some of the Peninsula's finest.

Any questions feel free to ring me on 0427 776932, or just be there.

Hey Les,

You got me interested in skipping a day off work. No Promises but you might see me one day.
